Glamour Push is a special promotion that encourages women in Perth and WA to participate in the Bike to Work Challenge and to cycle in style for short bike trips. It is Perth's answer to cycle chic.

In Perth, a trip of between 5 and 12 kilometres is a pleasant 20 - 45 minutes ride; that's 4 minutes per kilometre ridden at a very leisurely pace (15-20km/h).

This spring, women are joining the European trend by riding their bikes in fashionable clothes to get to work, pick up some groceries, or catch up with friends.

Join the 2011 Challenge now and you could win a a $1000 bicycle and accessories pack from Department of Transport's Bikewest.
Ride when you can and build up your kilometres over the six weeks.

Find out how you can ride in style and avoid helmet hair. (pdf)
